20th Batley Scout Group is for Young People 6yrs to 18yrs (male and female). Although based at St Thomas' church they are fully inclusive.

Scouts offer individual and group activities both indoors and outdoors to provide a fun learning environment to enable young people to gain confidence and reach achievements not provided for within the education system.
The aim of the Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Take Ten are a mental health and suicide peer support group offering support through real life lived experiences.

The aim of the group is to offer support and advice to individuals, families or friends of adults or children with Mental ill Health or Suicide and raise awareness of Mental ill Health and Suicide.

Youth Central is a virtual youth centre for Kirklees where young people aged 12-19 can access free youth work sessions, workshops, online chat, advice and services all at their convenience.

The website is delivered through Conscious Youth CIC in partnership with Kirklees Council, Kirklees Youth Alliance and other VCS organisations.
